We put up a ninja course and they love it.

We kept the swingset until around age 10, then switched to a hammock, a tire swing, and a trampoline. Even as seniors in HS they'd still go read in the hammock, a bunch would lay on the trampoline and chat, etc.

We have this and 10 yo still uses it. Definitely more fun with friends, though.

The monkey bars help the play yard to last longer (they will outgrow slides and swing earlier). At 11, dd still used to hang out at with friends at the top of the slide in the house part and have lunch or snacks with friends.

When youngest was 12, we got rid of it.

We have a nice expensive play set in our backyard that we put in about 5 years ago. My kids play on it periodically and friends LOVE it when they come over (it has a play house and ice cream stand and those are the bigger draws for the older kids.) I would not get one that was just a couple swings or something.

Do your kids still use it after the novelty wears off? We have a dome structure in ours that the kids used for a few weeks but now will not even touch. If I put a whole playground set like the ones from Costco, will they use them more frequently? Or at a certain point, do they just stop?
