Oh God, I’ve never forgotten that case. Horrific.

At least get the names right, OP.

Yes, that's definitely more important than the fact these violent dogs killed a person.

Should not be owned by 100% of people.

These dog breeds should not exist.

Malinoises are very important as working dogs in the military, policing, and search and rescues. They are highly intelligent and agile, hard workers. I agree they should not be with 99% of people but they should exist as working dogs. They should always be confined safely when not working. They require lots of mental and physical exercise regularly. A Belgian Malinois was a big help in capturing Osama Bin Laden.

+1

I could have written this same post.

I am a veterinarian...in school, I had a patient that was a Fila Brasileiro. The were slave hunting dogs in Brazil. Awful breed. No reason for them to exist.

Belgian Malinois can be great dogs but they need sufficient exercise, engagement, and training. And most people don't have the time or skills to do it properly.

How sad. He was a worker at the property, not the dogs' owner or trainer. Just a victim.

At least these dogs will not kill anyone else. Their owner should be charged with manslaughter. Or murder.

There are certain dog breeds that are banned from being brought into the Uk and both these dogs are on that list. It's for good reason.

I walked by one that was probably a 10-12 week old puppy with my Golden Retriever and the dog went absolutely apeshit unhinged, barking and lunging at us. I was rattled and afraid for my dog, like this puppy was really going to mess him up if that leash didn't hold, and mine was like 6 times the size!

Serious genetics at work. They don't call them "Maligators" for nothing.
