Costco. They also rotate the tires & fix flats, both for free, if tires were purchased from them. The flat fix alone is worth the membership, to me.

Costco is good but only Carries leading brands.

Check out Walmart.

Nothing wrong with most gently used tires. Just rotate and inspect them regularly which everyone should do anyway.
The main problem with these places is they don't offer free rotations and repairs.

I have a slow leak that can't be plugged based on the location so went with Roll as they were the quickest.

i like tirerack as it has a road damage warranty, i've used it many times in the past for blown out tires.

Check Consumer Reports (we access it free through the library), pick the features and tread life you want and then shop around.
For one of our cars, we used the Goodyear Roll service (they bring to you and install) because it was competitively priced for what we wanted. The other car we used Costco.

Costco. You will end up saving a couple of hundred dollars with them for all four tires.

I use tirerack and sometimes Walmart. Ordering from tirerack also locks you into installation fees that are sometimes half of what you can get on your own

Radial tire in Silver spring, maybe not always the cheapest but these are your tires and you want knowledgeable people who back up their products not some kid who works at a place for 2 months and doesn't care.

I used to make a point of supporting my awesome local mechanic, but he has more work than he can handle at this point, so while I still use him for all repairs and maintenance, I don't waste his time with tires.

I buy from Costco. Not what you're asking, but I only buy Michelins. I've done the money-saving thing with good off-brands like Yokohama, and they're perfectly fine and safe. However, while they start out quiet, after 20,000 miles or so, they get louder and louder and louder, and it drives me f8()*ing insane. Not a perfect analysis by any means, not a complete, objective review of all brands, but Michelins stay quiet.

+1. made last two purchases from walmart. not bad.

I use Tirerack.com, but shop around for installation prices from their recommended installers - I found those prices varied widely, which can increase your out-the-door cost more than you might expect. Tirerack offers the widest selection and very fast shipping to the installer you choose; I'd use them again.

We do not have a costco membership.
I will get one if it pays for itself with tires.
Any recommendations - we have AWD and need to replace all 4 tires.
