Can you share more about this?

Np, they mean Lowell will accept some students who have learning differences, or who developed them while there. But Lowell does not have the resources, trained staff or program to accommodate many learning differences. It is a mainstream school.

Lowell and McLean are two different sorts of schools.
Lowell is not geared for special needs students primarily. It is the same as Sheridan.
If your child needs the support McLean offers then you will not be happy or well served at Lowell.
Maybe Lab?

I'm a McLean parent. and I don't think there's 'massive turnover'. Yes, this is the Head of School's last year, but he's been here 10 years I think. And there are positions posted - but a lot of those are newly made positions.

I have a friend whose kid is thriving in the McLean school and absolutely loving it there. He really struggled with math until switching to McLean. I don’t have any info on Lowell.

I think Lowell has a dedicated staff person for any special situation like ADHD. Have you spoken with them?

Would any parents of kids with ADHD and/or dysgraphia be able to comment on their experience at McLean or Lowell? Thank you in advance.
