Yes this counts as RPL. I will say that having reasons makes your case more hopeful than unexplained RPL

Yes, and three losses should qualify you for ivf coverage from your insurance if you have it in your policy. However, beware that MD BCBS denied me coverage because according to them if I was getting pregnant (even if losses) then I didn’t have infertility. They will find whatever loophole they can to deny coverage. It’s shameful, on so many levels. Gaslighting a woman that she’s fertile when she can’t carry the babies beyond first trimester.

Yes it counts as RPL for testing and treatment purposes. In your case (as was in mine), seems like it’s an egg/embryo quality issue.

I would not consider a blighted ovum a miscarriage since an embryo never formed, but it would still be cause for concern for me and there’s no reason you can’t see a doctor and proceed with testing.

2 first trimester miscarriages due to blighted ovum, 1 miscarriage at 15wks due to trisomy 18. Since there is a known cause for the 3rd miscarriage is this still counted as 3 back to back miscarriages and diagnostic of recurrent pregnancy loss?
