One thing that helped was if I felt I had plateaued longer than I wanted or gained a little, I’d do something like just eat potatoes or eggs for 2-3 days. Or smoothies and salads. Or raw fruit and veggies. I ate how ever much I felt like as often as I wanted. It seemed to reset both my weight and loss ability, plus it would reset my taste buds so I wasn’t craving salty or sweets. I still do that occasionally if I feel I’m creeping up.
Two days of mono or close to mono eating isn’t going affect your health.
