Or for the "well rounded" approach, maybe Rasika, Compass Rose, or Le Diplomate.

Convivial at 8th and O is near Howard, near the Choice hotel right there, and has many fish options and a few areas that they can give you that are more private

Might be easier to try something closer to Howard. What about Hanks Oyster Bar at the Wharf?

Lyle’s has private rooms and serves fish. It’s a hotel and restaurant, so possible even to have any out of town guests stay there. Congratulations on the graduation! I’m hoping my son gets into Howard someday!

Clydes has lots of seafood options and does big groups well. I’ve been to a few extended family get-together there and they’ve been good. The Clydes in Georgetown has a back room— it wouldn’t be all yours but if you reserved a table for 16 it would be mostly yours.

There’s a Coastal Flats at Tyson’s Corner if that’s not too far.

My godson is graduating from Howard in May and we’re looking for a place to do a family dinner on Friday night. It’ll be his parents, siblings, our family, kids, and a few friends. Total 15ish. Many in the group are pescatarian. Any suggestions? I was thinking Fiola Mare but that’s way too expensive. We’re looking for nice but not break the bank nice. Options for seafood for the pescatarians and age range from 12 to 57. I guess a private room would be nice. Help!
