We had the exact opposite experience and chose Little Folks over NCRC.

Yes.

There are two ways to prepare a child for outplacement. One is to have them prepare for the process. For example, to practice interviews. The other is to develop a child well so that the child is generally happy and articulate. We prefer the second. We felt NCRC had good research and a good approach backing up their method. However, I hear that the school has expanded with not everyone happy with the outcome.

Was wondering how successful LFS was with outplacement this year vs NCRC? A prior thread mentioned NCRC is actually stronger in outplacement.

Previous LFS family here. We liked the focus on outplacement at LFS. They really prepare kids for the next phase in a gentle manner. Not sure if outplacement is as strong now. Not sure how this years outplacement went.

We didn’t have a great LFS experience. We found them too focused on outplacement and not enough on teacher development. We were happier at NCRC

Communication has been great at LFS, imho.

Our DS was there 2 years ago. Communication at LFS is not the best. Otherwise our experience was great. Teachers are excellent at meeting kids where they are. It’s mixed aged classrooms.

Any acceptances to Little Folks School. Wondering if they had a large applicant pool this year?
