When you said natural FET, do you mean completely natural or do you still need progesterone?

Also want to add I did an Auto-Immune protocol. While all testing was normal, we figured we’d throw in everything but the kitchen sink.

When you say that you did an auto immune protocol what changed were made from the other protocols?

It mainly consisted of over-the-counter meds, like Pepcid and Claritin, to suppress the immune system. I was at CCRM. You can Google their antihistamine protocol for more info.

I only did one IVF and it was natural cycle. Worked first try and my numbers were terrible. Amh was undetectable.

I had 3 medicated FET cycles that all resulted in early miscarriage. My 4th cycle was natural with no meds and it worked!

I did a natural cycle (FET) transfer and it worked.

No, natural transfer cycle. I guess unmedicated would be the best term.

My RE told me there was no difference in success rates between natural cycle FET and medicated FET. I did a natural cycle FET a with success. It wasn’t completely without progesterone though - they gave me progesterone suppositories (in contrast to PIO injections).

Natural IVF as PP mentioned something completely different.

If the issue is embryo quality, unclear to me why a non-medicated transfer cycle would help but maybe I’m missing something. I’d ask your RE to explain more. I have heard that non-medicated transfers can have some upsides in certain situations but it’s not going to fix a quality issue. Ask questions and wishing you luck either way!

We have gone through 6 non tested embryos.

5 pregnancies. 3 chemical, 2 blighted ovum. RE thinks it’s embryo quality and we are prepping for a second egg retrials with new donor sperm (we are a same-sex couple). My wife and I have had numerous tests done and all normal.

With the second egg retrieval we are planning on testing all embryos. But our doctor also wants to try a natural transfer cycle for me. He says some women respond better without the medication. I’m a bit nervous about the idea of not being on progesterone. Does anyone have an idea of success rates for non mediated transfer cycles?
