Commuting in this morning I had to go around and into traffic b/c two cars were blocking the bike lane. One had pulled into it to go around other traffic, cutting me off, and got oussecwgej I tapped her car and pointed to the bike lane sign. The other was an Uber driver waiting for a fare - they’re the worst. I really hope DC steps enforcement of drivers in cars entering the bike lanes.

If you touched my car or even tried to talk to me I would likely get out of my car and walk up to you with the goal of getting you arrested. You can't tap people's cars or even gesture towards them -- where the hell did you grow up. Not Boston or NY. Just slow down and wait.

Honestly this is why we need protected (with concrete curbs or bollards) bike lanes. Paint is not protection and many drivers just have zero regard for other road users and while it would be nice to rely on enforcement or people actually adhering to signs that jsut isn’t the way the world works.
