Is your elder F or M? My mom wore wet Depends and it seemed to cause UTIs and skin issues.

Oh I am sorry OP. I so relate to the obsessing over things-anything and everything sometimes and then forgetting.

It's all so stressful now, but long after they are resting in peace I feel like I will be laughing at the insanity.

Parent with dementia called me to say they tried washing their Depends. They also said they will wear them wet because they don’t want to run out. (They have 100s of Depends in their apartment.) They said they see no evidence anyone else wears them so maybe they are embarrassed?

A few months ago, they said they had too many Depends and to stop buying them. I ordered them via an Amazon subscription to save myself one freaking task of having to buy and lug boxes to the AL.

Parent said they want a phone number they can use to order them. Try explaining how Amazon doesn’t have a phone number to someone who never used the internet.

Hopefully, they will forget they asked. But they tend to obsess over things.
