Two serious prior whats? Has he been convicted of anything, or just charged?

Courts have been “backed up” for decades. Then they closed due to COVID and the backlog got out of control.

There are many examples like this across the country.
You can thank "progressive" DAs who decide not to prosecute serious crimes and progressive lawmakers who craft laws that allow repeat offenders out on the street before the arresting officer completes the paper work.
In these localities, the criminal is the victim.
Cases like this prove to me that many on the left don't really believe in "gun control." If they did, they would ensure that people like this criminal is unable to get his hands on another firearm instead of working to take away the rights from law abiding citizens.

Because, to DC policymakers, the “carceral state” is bad, and criminal acts are not really the individual offender’s fault: society is to blame. There also seems to be the view that many youth offenders simply can’t stop themselves when it come to violent crimes, so it is immoral to punish them in any real way, even if that would protect others. None of this is really a secret. The policy choice is simply that it is more important to minimize the impact of the criminal justice system on offenders, and an elevated crime rate is the unavoidable, unfortunate consequence of having a moral criminal justice policy.

My ex had a similar wrap sheet, with worse crimes (sexual assault and battery) being involved.
For people who know the system, it is a revolving door.
More than likely this person had crimes in multiple states, but none of these systems and databases are connected.
Also the process of going from evidence to charges, arrest warrant to arrest, case to being selected for prosecution, it can all be a true fishnet of sadness.
