Spiders eat a lot of pests. If they don't bother me, I don't bother them. I'd rather have spiders than spraying my home with chemicals.

I recommend putting down lots of glue traps early in the year so it catches the spiders when they're still tiny and haven't been feeding on crickets etc all year.

Could also use white sheets if you have a sofa, curtains etc. makes it easier to see them. I had a nice brown sofa but got rid of it because I couldn’t see spiders on/under it.

No headboard. Just a metal frame. The less furniture meeting the floor and around your head the better. You can also wipe little doterra peppermint on feet of bed. And maybe bug spray (ant not roach) where floor meets wall. or dicetamous earth sprinkled there.

I keep a dehumidifier running in my bathroom 24/7, spiders that go in there basically shrivel up and die.

Glue traps are better for spiders because their legs allow them to hover above the spray.

But if you have other bugs, getting rid of those will help. Vacuum up webs.

I've heard that spiders usually try to avoid people. A spider was quickly crawling on my bed today, although it was very close to me. I keep seeing them in my room; I'm not sure if they're the same one or different ones.
