Subject: Anyone use hand grips to strengthen hands and wrists?
I use a squeeze ball that is intended to improve grip strength, along with some basic wrist strengthening exercises with a light weight. I had wrist tendinitis a few years ago and the OT that I saw said my grip strength was weak and I need to work on keeping it strong.

They gave me a ganglion cyst that took months to get rid off. I would just keep doing whatever you are doing and the grip should eventually strengthen too without targeted work. Upper body pulling movements (rows, pullups) made the biggest difference for me. If your grip is severely limiting you on these exercises, use straps or versa gripps for your heaviest sets.

How do you incorporate these into your workout and what were your results? I see them for sale, but I never see people using them or instructions on how to use them. I picked up a pair and I don’t want to injure myself.
