You think they’re making this up?
What I think is that everyone should engage in some critical thinking. You can start by reading the purpose of and the comments to the original tweet. The purpose of the original tweet is to criticize the NY Times reporting. It's not simply warning the Jewish community of this report. And the comments are critical of the poster's motive. Then you could question if the flyer is authentic, and if it is, why wasn't it released publicly by the NYPD? Or why hasn't the NYPD officially commented? Why has the FBI not commented or released something?
Then you could read the flyer itself with a critical eye - it references online postings, including a video. That sounds alarming, but as we see here on DCUM daily, anyone can post anything online. They might even pose as a different poster in the same thread to generate discussion. We have no way of knowing how much activity has been detected, who the police think is posting, the reliability of the police research linking those posters to actual people or actual DVE groups. Even so, it's probably a good idea to be cautious and a good idea for the police to warn the community if they believe there is a credible threat. But the fact that the flyer indicates that the only source of information is from the NYPD doesn't give me a lot of confidence.
Ignore the tweet. The flyer is the point, not the tweet.
All of that bolded text is about the flyer. But this is obviously a stupid and pointless conversation with people who will believe anything simply because they want to. Carry on.
