I got a better trade in deal from a dealer. You could just try going to a dealer and compare to the Carmax quote.

Try: Carvana, Vroom, AutoNation, Facebook Marketplace, CarGurus, Craigslist, and Autotrader. Bring A Trailer is good for cars which have some enthusiast appeal.

I sold 2 cars on Craigslist in less than 2-3 hours, getting more than twice what Carmax offered. That was before the pandemic. You should do even better.
