I wish there was a little less focus on weight.
I'm also confused about what happened to Dr. Reed after the first season. It seems like they rewrote his characteristics from sexy confident British womanizer doctor to dweeby British office manager who overeats and has trouble getting a date.
Did anyone else notice that or am I misremembering?
Yes. They constantly talk about Mindy being fat and unappealing it's so annoying.
They reference the fact that Mindy used to hook up with Dr. Reed (it was in the pilot) in early episodes but then they shy away from that/him as a womanizer because it doesn't really help propel stories forward.
I am a fan of the show but I also think they should have added more dimensions to the Peter Prentice character. He's the extreme epitome of gross frat boy and being shallow about women AND their bodies.... but also, a good OBGYN who deal in lady parts and babies all day?

Yes, I watched when it first came out and always thought that was odd. I enjoyed the show but no need to watch again. I am surprised people are acting like they have never heard of it before now.

My tween started watching it on SB last year because the rental had cable.
Funny, but lots and lots of jokes about casual sex. Tons of casual sex jokes, several times per episode.
