That's fine if you want to do that and maybe have others you're caring for, not necessary for a single person. It's almost martyrlike. OP, just get precut veggies, grape tomatoes, bananas and simple sandwich supplies. Tuna salad on spinach, scrambled eggs, quick things. When I'm home alone I snack on fruits, veggies, cheese, almonds.
