You don’t need to do any prayers. Hydrangeas are hardy here.

Yeah it’s fine as long as you didn’t buy it full of leaves and flowers like it’s been in a greenhouse. I know sometimes they’re sold as sort of indoor potted plants. If it has bare stems, you can plant it now.

from my experience in the region, if the ground is soft enough to dig a hole, go ahead and plant hydrangeas if you have them. They are cold hardy
