This is what I'm noticing too. Stark white is reserved for flips.

White will always work. It’s 100% neutral. If you love white go for it. However, if you’re looking for something that’s very “right now” you could consider a black or even dark teal blue.

White kitchen will date your house. They’ve had their moment but people are looking for warmer tones now

White will come back and isn’t out
Shows on hgtv and the magazines are all focusing on blues and grays and greens
That will be Over soon. Stick to something that is not trendy, but timeless.

actually green- both dark nd sage is "in" but a classic nd timeless look is more "in" so if you are gravitating toward white wooden cabinets, that will never be dated. if OTH- you want to do teh shiny laminate white, the probably will be dated. As far as dated though.. my mom gave me a piece of advice which has proved itself to be true- if something is truly beautiful, cohesive and well designed It will ALWAYS be a positive design wise even if it does look like it is from a specific era or even trend.

White is no longer in, but it’s not out either. Wood tones and colors like green, black and greige are in. White is classic enough that it will never be truly out but it’s not the top designer choice anymore.
