Ranunculus "Cream"

Yarrow "King Edward" it is a dwarf variety with bigger flowers than the species

Dianthus "Sunflor Amber"

Chrysanthemum Valour (for fall blooms)

Epimedium Grandiflorum "Yellow princess" or Epimedium koreanum :Harold Epstein'

This is awesome. Thank you! Will research these, but the dianthus variety really piques my interest.

Fancy echinaceas are not long lasting.

Uptick cream coreopsis is deer resistant, likes sun, blooms a very long time. Shastas - especially the one you mention tend to be short lived. The echinacea is nice though.

Be careful — Knockout roses are not deer resistant.

The yellow knock out roses are indestructible and bloom all season but they’ll be taller than that.

Under 20” and blooming all season sounds like you should consider annuals.

Any recommendations for a pale yellow perennial that can do it all? Deer resistant, drought tolerant, showy, long-blooming. Less than 20 inches tall. Planing is full sun from dawn to dusk. It is for the planting area in the front of the house.

Am considering the banana cream shasta or the butter pecan echinacea, but am not sure they would be the right fit. The banana cream Shasta seems to get mixed reviews.

The soft color is really important.
