Most of the ward is NOT happy with him.

Start with Nadeau first, followed by Allen.

Are we just stuck with him or is there a process that could remove him (or at least send him a message)?

Unfortunately, and not surprisingly, the recall rules are an incumbent protection plan. Hopefully we can pick off No Do. But we have to wait at least a year to go after Frumin. [/quote

Or, in other words, you’re attempting to overturn the outcome of democratic processes in parts of the city that you don’t even live in. Good luck.

Matty Pickleball made zero mention of “crime” or “police” in his budget request. The way he kowtows to these 30 something ANC reps is embarrassing. He’s a grown man and should start acting like it. He’s lost our vote.

Matty Pickleball!!!! Too good.

Who is "we?" You cannot vote in both Ward 1 and Ward 3.

No, it's a reflection of the fact that the people most likely to opposed him got re-districted out of Ward 6. Interesting, right?

Maybe next time, run someone in the primary or general election. The fact that no one ran in either pretty much means most of the ward was very happy with him.

Is there a process in DC for recalling a Councilmember? Ward 6 got stuck with Allen because he ran unopposed but even the most chill/laid back of my friends are really upset about Allen's leadership on issues like crime and schools. Are we just stuck with him or is there a process that could remove him (or at least send him a message)?
