When I was in my early 20s I ordered a rare steak at Applebee's and they refused to do it. I said I would sign something that I wouldn't sue them if I got food poisoning but I wanted that rare steak. I was broke and never got to eat steak. Finally they told me the steaks were frozen and so it was impossible to prepare them rare. My husband still reminds me about the time I wanted Applebee's rare steak.

This is a funny story. It’s also funny that you thought your server could just whip up a little waiver of liability before giving you your food.
