For every five I’ve met, any teacher does the work of four of them. Syphax is a s—t show, and, yes, teachers in APS are very pissed off about it.

1. the number of Syphax employees skyrocketed in recent years and continue to increase, all while teachers take on bigger classes, having less support, and taking on more and more mandates (from Syphax)
2. why should central office non student-facing staff get much better work benefit than teachers who actually make the biggest impact on student achievement?
3. APS teachers know the situation very well, they are fed up, many are afraid to speak up, but some begin to.
