I wouldn't worry about the fat. Fat is important for development.

I make it in a single serve blender cup (Ninja). I use half a can of coconut milk (try to find one without additives like guar gum) and use mixed frozen berries and the frozen "tropical fruit blend" from Target up to the line. Add water up to the line so it will blend fully. Then just pour into popsicle mould.

This sounds great. Babies need a lot of fat and protein! A lot! Coconut milk is consider one that is good, and fruit frozen has just as many nutrients as when not frozen which is great.

Glad it is helpful! I had tried making smoothies before but she was not into it and I had kind of given up. But the same thing in posible form is like the best thing ever to her.

OP here. I hear you. For DD it is not like that at all. She doesn't go right after eating it, we just noticed she is much more regular since I started giving them to her. With too much Miralax she started withholding and having pee accidents. We've given her other things like prunes/pineapples.in the past but she wouldn't eat them consistently.

No - thee saturated fat in coconut milk is not a concern. The thing to avoid is cheap oils

I also sometimes do prunes for dessert (they're probably be good in yogourt popsicles too!) if you ever want to switch it up!

Reusable popsicle moulds are such a good investment.

Medjool dates do wonders, too

if temporary, not big deal. Edys Acai Blueberry Popsicles do the same but low fat. Could alternate.

It's so easy. I got a mold and reusable popsicle sticks at Michaels and use the single serve smoothie blender cup. She loves it and I don't even add any kind of sweetener.

She eats these popsicles twice daily. Is it terrible for her to be eating this much coconut milk (high saturated fat)? We give her Miralax as well but it wasn't working well by itself.
