Waldorf on Penn then if you are a sushi fan you can get a last minute bar seat at Sushi Nakazawa. Or just walk across the street to Central and get the fried chicken or burger at the bar. You could also do happy hour there and get the chicken nuggets and a fun drink to maximize your pajama time.

Have so much fun. I am jealous.

Sitting at the bar at 2amys can be fun, but so would a dinner at Fiola Mare for great seafood. When I dine alone, I tend to prefer bar seating or a chefs counter. Estadio would have been perfect for this but sadly they close for good tonight.

Open to any type of food, though I’m not a huge seafood fan. Also still figuring out hotel-don’t want to spend a fortune, and thought maybe I’d pick the restaurant and then a hotel walkable to it. Much like the poster below, the majority of my time will be spent in my pjs in the hotel room!

Honestly if it were me, I would probably get takeout and eat it in my pajamas in a hotel room! But if you want to go out, maybe good sushi if that's your thing--sit at the bar and watch the show! Sitting the bar at Convivial would also be nice, or (more expensively) Fiola.

Barcelona Wine Bar. I love sitting at the bar and ordering a few tapas. It's so good! They also have some fun gin and tonics on the drink menu.

What would you pick? Where would you go for a best meal, alone? My Valentine’s Day gift from my husband is 24 hours alone in DC. We haven’t left MoCo much since COVID/having babies/new jobs the last few years. I have a list a mile long of places I want go to, but a lot of them are more “date night” than “solo diner”. Not necessarily looking for fancy or expensive, just somewhere really good where I can enjoy sitting alone and decompressing.
