This may be splitting hairs a bit...but what is considered "a little better"? With my kids so young, it's hard to think about what I may be looking for in a HS.

West Springfield has higher test scores - SOLs and SATs - then South County. That’s about it.

We live in Crosspointe. Love Silverbrook. Almost like a private school. Scms has been amazing as well. Can't go wrong in that area.

Feedback on South County? Mostly focused on ES due to kids ages but will accept feedback on HS too!

Have experience with both and found WSHS to be a better environment for my kids. It felt less chaotic, but we only were at SCHS for a year. No experience with Irving, only SCMS. Silverbrook is a bit of a bubble and then they go to SCMS, which has more economic diversity, but we found it to be well run and liked the teachers. They have a different principal now, though.

I am thinking Cardinal Forest is also WHSH also but not 100% sure. They're probably mostly 6 of 1, half a dozen of the other. I have a slight preference for OH but probably because I just live right next it and a bit more familiar.

Yes. Cardinal Forest is zoned for WSHS.

Commute to D.C. (Penn Quarter) seems similar for all three.

Thank you, though, good to know each has a good reputation!! Definitely looking for the "right" house, just wanted to see if anything stood out (good or bad) on those ES.

Do MS/HS options matter? Silverbrook feeds into a different MS/HS than Orange Hunt and Cardinal Forest.

I agree. In this case base your move in the house first.
