Check electrek.co or the various Reddit boards/Facebook groups/user forums for electric cars -- I find those spend an inordinate amount of time discussing EV tax policy for new purchases (which I don't care about anymore because we bought our EV two years ago and got the tax credit for it last year).

I understand that the “grace period” for the full $7500 credit for cars on the IRS website is supposed to expire in March. Does anyone know or have any idea when in March? Is it the first day, the last day or sometime in-between? Or is it possible that the grace period will be extended to June when the tax rules or finalized?
