I like Rice Paper, the tofu place (bring home the soy milk), Vivi tea, the Korean restaurant is ok. There is a beauty shop called My Bes friend that I like for face masks and K skin care.

Rice Paper is good, nice decor and presentation (esp for no frills Eden).

Mia & More - all drinks sugar cane based, even the durian flavor was yummy!

Of course all the delis also have banh mi, popular Viet sandwiches - easy carry out for lunch at park.

After living here in FCC for years, we finally got dinner from Huong Viet last night, and it was pretty terrible. I mean, I didn’t expect top notch but none of the dishes were good (covered in oil instead of sauce), and so much more expensive (despite having to pay in cash) than our local Hunan Cafe. I now realize I should appreciate Hunan Cafe—it’s not amazing but it’s consistent and all its dishes are good. I’ve never given a bad review but that was so bad I felt the need to post it somewhere. Maybe they were having an off night?

I haven’t been in a few years, but some of those places only took cash, so make sure to have some on you, or read the sign on the door before you choose a restaurant.

I liked Huong Viet — had the Vietnamese pancake, Bo luc lac, grilled pork with rice vermicelli, and spring rolls. Want to try Rice Paper.

The popcorn chicken at Vivi is pretty good too. The other stuff on their menu is decent as well.
Grab some pastries at the bakeries to bring home.
You could also have dim sum at Mark's Duck House nearby.
Like somebody else said, Upton Regional Park is on the opposite side northwards.

at the delis, my kids like the avocado boba, sesame balls and pasteries.
at the gift shops, my kids will also browse some of cheap the jewelry.

My husband is Vietnamese, my MIL makes the most delicious viet food, and I have to confess that Eden center is a bit disappointing in terms of cuisine. The exception to that are the delicious banh bao and banh gio (sorry, can't put accents) at the little place called Cha Lua Ngoc Hung. I particularly love the rice flavor of the banh gio, due in part to the banana leaf wrapping. I highly recommend you try both!!!

Eden Center has mostly restaurants, cafes, services, and some small jewelry and fabric shops. The kids can run around in the center court, but if you want a park go to Upton Hill Regional Park in Falls Church or Madison Manor Park in Arlington

The food in most of the restaurants is okay but nothing is really good.

Please recommend because I am planning to take kids there this weekend. Any fun places to drop by around there?
