I have met a lot . Met Jennifer Hudson at the Grammys last week very sweet and friendly , Colbert as witty and humble in reality , Eli manning humble and very good with kids , Will Power car racer intelligent and down to earth. Also met Liev Schrieber so unassuming and humble and quiet bit gracious . Christine Baranski always smiling and very sweet. Lebron james aloof but not snobby if that makes sense . One observation most American celebrities are incredibly human and down to earth . Other international minor celebrities not so much .,

Rachel brosnehan (marvelous mrs. Maisel) and Ashton Kutcher (when he was younger and married to Demi Moore)

Bob Saget. He was the nicest guy and took the time to talk to us and was cracking jokes. Seemed like he really loved his life. Sad that he’s gone.

I had lunch at a friend’s house with Oprah when I was in college. She was extremely kind and asked me lots of questions about my plans and studies, gave me some advice and was just generally a lovely person. This was in 2002 so height of her fame.

Bill Clinton came to an event at my workplace long after he had left office. We were not part of the event but stood there gawking. The event organizers threatened to have security remove us but he came over, shook hands with all of us and posed for pictures.

Johnny Depp. So sweet to me. I had a big crush on him, too. This was in the 1990s.

Penny from Lost was in the line behind me at Whole Foods in Santa Monica when my kid and I were considering buying some Kale chips. She told us they were disgusting and advised us not to buy them.

George Clooney. Meet him at the Hard Rock in San Francisco. He was super sweet to my daughter.

Keith Richards! Kids went to public HS in CT.

Snoop Dogg helped my friend pick up spilled luggage at LAX.

Reporter Chris Gordon. That’s all I’ve got but I worked for a politician and met so many local reporters. At the time, Chris Gordon had gained national recognition as he’s an attorney and was frequently commenting on the OJ trial.

Of all the reporters I met over the years, he was genuinely kind and gentlemanly and didn’t demand I do his research for him.

So which celebrities have been the nicest you ever met?

I did an internship with Letterman in the late 80’s and worked in Radio so I met a lot.

Lionel Richie is one of the nicest I ever met. Most humble and one of the smartest about money.

Gene Cernan was the most impressed me. I mean when you are one of the 12 who walked on another world, consider me impressed.

However, Mike Rowe is hands down the nicest “celebrity” I ever met.

He was doing a meet and greet at a local Lowe’s and was supposed to be there for 90 minutes. We went after gymnastics for my kid and met a friend and we stood in a line that later wrapped around the building. He ended up staying until 1 in the morning to talk to, answer the same questions and take photos with each and every person who came to see him.
