Sorry keep remembering things - also had to move a radiator that was along the all that we removed. Our kitchen is on the smaller side but the reconfiguring of the space, plus the custom cabinets, drove up the cost.

A 20k fridge is obviously not what OP is looking for.
OP, I haven't done a kitchen but I just finished a project that included a good sized pantry/laundry area with cabinets and fridge, and a separate bathroom with cabinets. All together it's the amount of cabinets in a medium kitchen. We did not do slide out drawers in the cabinets, which you probably do want in a kitchen and requires spending more on cabinets. We spent:
Cabinets (delivered, not including installation) $14k.
Fridge <$3k.
4 feet of quartz counter, installed with sink $1300.
In a separate project I had to get my entire kitchen floor replaced. Sand in place hardwood for an eat-in kitchen was $3500 a few years ago.

Are you replacing applicances, flooring, lighting, and how many cabinets (especially base cabinets) ? I would think 50K is tough for a kitchen.
- Not replacing flooring or lighting or most of the appliances: just a new oven (~4k induction) and microwave (<1k type for sure).
- replacing 6 base cabinets, 6 upper cabinets, new sink and faucet (counting 1.5k?),
- not moving plumbing but closing gas line and would like to move where the electrical oven would go (on wall instead of island).
- Quartz or marble (if DH lets me..) countertops, not the tippy top but aiming for good quality
What do you think?

We did a 2021 renovation- All in with labor we were a little north of 100K. We got Brighten Cabinets, sub zero refrigerator, ge cafe range top, double oven and dishwasher. Quartez countertops. We replaced windows and sliding door. We redid hardwood floors did not replace. I spent 5K on a design, which was very helpful.

we are currently redoing our ~300 sq foot kitchen. Using semi custom cabinets (shiloh cabinetry), quartz countertops, new appliances (with the exception of our 4 year old counterdepth fridge), new hardwood floors and a move of our sink from a wall placement to the center of a larger island. Budget is 60k, we will most likely be closer to 70k as we added a scullery with a small sink and we had to run new plumbing for that.

Ha if it’s big, definitely not custom cabinets. Maybe middle of the lien cabinets. My fridge was $20k alone. Wine cooler $5500, oven $16,000. You could get a la cornue for 1/2 your budget.

We are considering a renovation and thinking about $100k is about where we would need to be price wise, but reading so many posters here it sounds like this will get you big box store cabinets and low quality counters. We’re in MoCo.
