If you're bad at parking, you shouldn't be driving. It's not hard. Especially if you can't be bothered to take 3-4 seconds to straighten.

I have noticed that some owners of new, expensive cars do this so no one will park next to them & scratch their new car.

I've noticed smaller cars do this more often because they can. Big cars/SUVS have to get it just right to be within the lines and to allow passengers to open their doors.

I parked really crookedly the first few months I had a minivan. Somehow I’ve figure it out, but I just couldn’t get lined up between the lines to save my life at first, and I consider myself a good parker otherwise.

I'm a terrible parker. If it's not a high traffic area, I'll try to fix it but eventually it just get embarrassing to try multiple times and still be messed up.

If I'm crooked, I'm probably in a high-traffic street, or one way, or other situation where I want to get parked ASAP so cars don't start honking.

Then drive a smaller car! It doesn't fit in the city and it's terrible for the environment

I park crookedly across two spaces at the absolute farthest point from the store, because my pickup has an extended cab (back door opens opposite the front door) and I literally can't load groceries if someone is parked right next to me.
