I actually don’t post often. I don’t have that many followers but the followers I have are my friends and many or all have kids the same age as mine.

I always post a birthday picture. I will not post a picture of the party.

+1. People are pretty sensitive about that these days.

Good.

It’s always been tacky.

I have a private group for family and post all this stuff there. No one who is not a relative of this child actually cares about any of this.

Post what you want. It’s your page.

Just text a photo to the people in it instead of posting it. problem solved

I post pictures of things we did as a family bc no one should feel bad they didn’t get invited to a vacation just for people who live in my house. Same for cousin parties. Friend stuff I only text the photos around.

You can make your own decisions, but yeah, if I think posting a picture is likely to hurt someone's feelings, I don't do it. Not because it's "bad," but because I don't want to hurt someone's feelings. I just text it to people if I really want them to see it (like Grandma)

You shouldn’t be posting that much personal information on social media anyway, OP, for various reasons.

I wouldn't post a b-day party picture if I was FB friends with parents of uninvited kids.

But I also don't feel the need to post my life on FB, and I'm only friends with my actual friends, so it's rarely an issue.

I feel like I can no longer post anything since it may hurt feelings. If I go on a trip, I can’t post because some other friends we didn’t invite May feel bad. If my child went skiing, another mom may feel bad if we didn’t invite her son. I can’t post a picture of my child’s birthday because I only invited girls and a few boys. I actually invited a lot of people but I couldn’t invite everyone.
