This. But don't call them a mother's helper in your job listing. When I was looking this type of position was called a "nanny manager" I think.

A mother's helper will be younger than OP's kids.

Often a FT nanny who can drive transitions into this sort of role as the children get older.
Getting someone new at this later stage is harder. Housekeepers frequently don't drive or don't want to drive kids every which way. Getting someone who is actually a good cook, and who can meal plan and shop, is a whole different skill set.
You don't mention housecleaning so I assume you have some sort of service for that.
I guess if I were you I'd try calling a nanny agency and ask what they think and if they have nannies that meet your criteria.

What kind of childcare do we need?
Our kids are tweens/teens and we mainly need someone to get them to and from school, drive to activities, cook and do laundry for the family.
We've had aupairs, liveins, live outs and it seems that the kids are older now and mainly need driving but we also need household help.
