So what you are suggesting is for OP to wait until the engine stalls in the middle of the road and hope that there is no car pileup?
Wow!
Yes. Exactly. Can still moves when engine dies. Turn the blinker on. Let the car come to a complete stop. Restart. Most likely it won't ever happen.
Ridiculous. People have been badly injured and killed when a car suddenly stalls on a freeway.

Mercedes is currently recalling old models for a similar problem and Toyota did a recall for stalling in 2016. Search online for how those cases were resolved.
Benz issue is an old issue. First two, they already know how to fix it so I don't think OP owns those (per her post). I can't figure out which car OP is driving.

Needless to say I do not feel safe driving the car and putting my life or the public at risk
I requested a buyback from both the dealer and manufacturer and both are refusing. The manufacturer told me that there is no date when the remedy will be available and all I can do is wait
Can I cite the VA lemon law to put pressure on the dealer/manufacturer to repurchase the vehicle ?
Anyone in a similar situation please advise
