have the quiz? Teachers do not let kids take quizzes home. They would have to rewrite them for future years. Kids are lucky to see them.

This is Spanish 4. I actually pulled out a Spanish 3 textbook with the tutor who said it would not help at this point. The teacher plays a Spanish video, and they are supposed to respond to the questions.

Our kid dropped for second semester. The teacher never had any assignments posted online and it was challenging to know what the assignments were. There were no textbooks, handouts, or posted lessons. Everything was him writing on the board. Our student tried to take pictures of the lessons, and was told yo put the phone away and use his ears and eyes. He replaced it with another elective and will take a different language next year.

They will never let you switch because it would involve doing actual work and they hate that.

Can you ask to switch teachers/classes?

My daughter has a new Spanish teacher for second semester and is completely lost. There are no handouts, assignments posted on canvas, or textbook. She has received a C and F on the two quizzes. She met with a tutor before the last one, but it was impossible to prepare without any idea of what to study. I am wondering if we should approach the counselor to see about substituting an other class, but don’t know if this is a crazy idea or even possible.
