Slightly O/T but ….How do you know when it starts? I got mirena last year for heavy periods and anemia and now I don’t get my period or if I do it’s a day of spotting so can’t track that. . I haven’t slept through the night since having kids. I am cold more often than hot. I just lost 5 lbs (with hard work) so the flab around my stomach is almost gone although I did get thicker in the past few years. Sex hasn’t changed-somewhat 1lowish drive but it all works well once I get going (no pain or dryness). . But I’m 52! Should I know by now? Why is menopause such a mystery? Am I jinxing it with this post? Do I just assume in peri and one day it will just change…

Same! I spent so many years being cold all that time that it's strange to not feel cold.

hot flashes aren't always the sweaty kind. I just randomly get warm sometimes and have to peel off a layer--dr says that's hot flashes--theyve never made me sweat.

What was the commercial specifically for?

I get them occasionally-usually at night-but I was SO COLD through my 20's 30's and 40's that I don't mind.
