The reason Keystone was built is because that Canadian tar sands oil is of such low quality that only a handful of refineries in the entire world are capable of processing it, which is why they pipe it all the way across the entire US. And even when it's refined, it's still not good enough to put in your car. Most of it is ends up going for export.

Ugh. I feel so bad for those people. There are also reports of big fish kills and animals dying.
You get what you vote for. How many more of these man-made disasters do we have to have before people finally wake up and realize that Republicans only care about corporate profits and don't care about the communities they destroy on the way to making those profits?
