You’re confusing weight and volume ounces. The 16oz on the package would be weight, meaning that one serving is half a pound. There’s no way half a pound of cooked pasta could be so low, right?

As long as I’m counting the calories and everything adds up to being at my goal or under it, why does it matter? It only matters to me that the packaging is possibly incorrect so that I can adjust my eating today.
