What should Doordash do? Is simply refunding the missing meal enough or should they compensate for the “trouble”?
well this part of it was still a choice. If I were the diner with a missing meal, I would be truly mortified if the whole party waited for me to cook something while their food got cold. It sucks for me, but why make it suck all the way around for 3 other people?
In these situations, I think Doordash/Ubereats/etc should refund the missing items and also all service and delivery fees, but not the tip, as the model does prevent drivers from checking the orders.
