I THINK it consists of "classics" (e.g., Latin?) competitions? Teams go around to different schools around the country and all speak Latin to each other?
If that's the case then I am thrilled BASIS is making the few kids in that program pay their own way. It would piss me off if resource were diverted to travel for those kids.
