These houses have walk scores in the 60s. Oxford is 60 miles from the nearest Amtrak station. The high school is a 7/10 on GreatSchools.

I’m not denying that that could be the case, however.

I thought so too, but there’s at least one other house priced similarly, and this house sold for $1.2M in 2019.

Maybe the university needs the property & the owner wants a windfall.

I suspect that this price is an error.

I have been to Oxford, Mississippi a few times & I frequently recommend Ole Miss, but something is amiss in Ole Miss territory.
