Correct. WashU has school of engineering and Emory only has it with GA Tech. But besides that how are Emory and WashU similar and different?

Tulane certainly has the most cachet. Plus, the quality of life is going to be the highest at Tulane. They’re all fine school though.

Emory doesn’t have engineering.

Tulane is big on yield protection so if your kid is high stats, they must apply ED to be accepted.

This, but gap between Wash U and Emory is fairly small. Much much larger gap between Emory and Tulane. They all give a big bump for ED. I think WashU and Emory both about 35% acceptance rate for ED this year. But they take 50-60% of class ED. For Tulane, you have to apply ED or maybe EA — they took only 100 kids last year RD. This year looks like it will be similar based on what I am seeing locally. Total manipulation of stats for ranking purposes. They say they have 7% acceptance rate. But ED rate is probably over 50% if not considerably higher.

Our advisor told us Wash U and Emory very similar but Tulane much much easier (especially if you apply ED)
