I absolutely hate how early it is

I did see that soccer tryouts at our school are likely to be 8/10. I think that really, really stinks. I have another kid who has a work commitment and can't take vacation prior to 8/10, so it means that we can't take a family vacation without making one kid sacrifice the one thing they really want to do.

That's set by the state atheltics association. https://www.mpssaa.org/ . Looks like the first day allowed for fall sports is August 9, 2023.

I can guess based on prior years, but hoping to see a confirmed date before making summer plans.
