He was growing quite a lot at 12 through the early part of 14. Then the height has just slowed down since.
This indicates he is at the end of his growth trajectory. But, he may grow another an inch or so and then stop.
DS 17 was a late bloomer. He never had a real spurt, just slow and steady, about 2" or so every year. At his last pediatrician appt this past summer he had grown a whopping 3.5" from the previous year (that was sarcasm). The dr said based on his growth trajectory, he's still growing and hasn't hit the tail end.
Puberty at 12 for a boy isn't too early, but it is on the earlier side. DS didn't hit really hit puberty until like 15. He is now 17.5.
