At one point on the scanner they said a neighbor had reported seeing a teen with blood on their shirt running through the neighborhood. (not at the school)

Police entered the school to search for the assailant.

Assailant may have been in the neighborhood as well, and police were going to a certain address.

Concerning--is there are several requests for keys, and asking for the principal to provide the keys to rooms--how have we not learned that after Uvalde????

--separately--received a whatsapp image of someone being led away from the school in handcuffs suggesting the assailant was in custody. But, cannot verify.

Last few police chatters have been to maintain the lockdown status for now even though there is no longer a threat.

to be fair they were keys to a closet they were looking for and not a classroom

that is not clear on the scans, and luckily this was not a more serious threat it seems. if it was a more serious threat, you wouldn't care what room the keys were for--this should be standard protocol. closets and all!

no it's clear on the scan, they ask several times for the keys to the closet

Too add it started in the morning when one of the students and some unknown person exchanged messages
the student then reported they saw the suspect in the building and felt confident it was him/her
Good that the student reported it and good the school took action right away

Someone in the other thread referenced this scanner traffic which has a lot more information on it:

Start listening around 12:51. I'm still listening through it.
