There are tons of coffee makers designed to make the coffee directly into travel mugs. Why dirty two things if you do not have to?

Cannot recommend my Cuisinart programmable coffee maker in with built in grinder highly enough..I'm a coffee snob too. Very easy. Makes a very good cup of you following cuisinart's directions.

I think they even sell it at Costco now too for a decent price

I posted a link to the Ninja. It has 8 inches of clearance for whatever sized travel mug. I measured LOL! This would be for the XL travel mug, they estimate that to be 18 oz of coffee.

I have a Ninja and they're made to fill huge travel sized tumblers. There is a tray that folds down to hold cups, even.

This does not allow for a k-cup. It has a reusable filter or you can use a paper filter if you don't want to deal with coffee grounds.

Just use the Mr coffee and pour into the yeti. Dont make it complicated.

For a standard drip coffee that won't work because the carafe is designed to move the mechanism that blocks the coffee so that it doesn't pour when there's no carafe. If you don't catch it in time the basket overflows with coffee.

So just get whatever coffee maker you like and transfer the coffee into your yeti after.

Any drip coffee maker with a carafe will do what you want. I’ve had a cuisinart for years and it was cheap and just keeps going and going. I make one pot a day every day year round. The more features and pods and such you have on a coffee maker the more likely it will break.

Check if the Hamilton Beach 2 in 1 will fit your yeti on the travel mug side...but it might not have a big enough reservoir to brew enough coffee to fill it.

I need help identifying a basic coffee maker for a basic coffee drinker.

I do not need bells and whistles, a regular drip machine is fine.

I would LIKE it to be programmable (set it to go off at 6AM so I can wake to the smell of coffee), but I *NEED* it to fit my tall yeti. I drink on my commute and also during the first part of the day, so a smaller cup isn't feasible. The cup in question is the 18-oz Rambler Hot Shot. Without the cap, the cup is about 8" tall. It will not fit under my current old-school Mr. Coffee, it is just a tad too tall. It will not fit under the office's Keurig (K1500), it's just maybe 1" too tall.

In closing, I want it all:

I'm lazy. I want a coffee alarm clock.

I'm cheap. I do not want to pay for coffee during the day. I'll bring it from home.
