Horrible, but possible.

This, though you may also find that clothes start fitting tight in other ways. You might lose inches off your waist but discover that things are tight in the thighs. Also, if you really up your upper body resistance training, it can really change the way shirts fit and make some things less flattering than they use to be. I used to wear strapless a lot and it looked cute on me but as my lats and the rest of my upper body got stronger, I found I looked better in v-necks (which used to look terrible on me) or sleeveless things, rather than just strapless.

This is where I am too. I started a new workout/diet program with a trainer and she said that this is because it's changing my body composition, and that the scale number will adjust itself at some point (then there are all kinds of other things she said, but I only remember this part). One of the things I'm doing to keep me motivated when this happens is weekly photos in my undies. I can actually see the difference even if the scale doesn't want to move yet.

Are you wearing the same clothes, or are these new clothes and now you’re buying a M?

They are older “skinny” clothes I vowed to fit into again after a slight weight gain. I’ve been focusing on diet and cardio since the NY. I haven’t shed a pound yet, but like I said, I fit in the old clothes now.

Riddle me this! I was wearing a L with M being slightly too tight. All of a sudden one day L became much too large, pants constantly needing pulling up, etc, but M still too tight. Then like overnight M fits perfectly. The catch? I haven’t lost a single pound. What???
