Lots of people move their child mid year for lottery spots, look at HB. ATS is a very good school with no achievement gap and it’s truly diverse. Also, those with several children; the oldest is the trailblazer for all younger siblings.

Are you #1 on the wait list? Then there’s always a chance, since we live in an area where people often move. But the lottery will be re-rolled soon for the coming school year.

The only way it will open up is if someone moves.

This late?? The list was literally just released. Kids will get in through summer.

I know kids who left over the summer and mid year. Families move out of the county. They applied hoping to find a house they could afford and couldn't, so left.

My kid at ats reported that he just got a new kid in his class, so I’d say it is definitely possible!
