Siennas are obscene. Why anyone would pay $10k more than the equivalent Odyssey is beyond me.

Also, Pohanka has been at MSRP or below for a while now. At least Acura. What brand do they have above MSRP?

All hybrids and EVs at all brands I checked on. I personally think it is scummy. I can't wait for the reckoning when inventory comes back and all of these dealers who were order takers have to work for a living.

Eh. Just get an IC engine. I’m not paying a premium ANd dealing with limited charging stations. They’ve still got a ways to go.

How wonderful for you...

Take a look at the thread. The first time anyone introduced judgment was when MR. ICE told someone to just get an ICE. The reply was "how wonderful for you..." From that somehow you and your aggrieved whit persecution complex somehow decided you were victims.

Read the words and get back to me once you climb down from your cross.

I bought a car from Sheehy Ford over the weekend and there was no markup. In fact, according to all the comparisons this car was the best deal I could find in the area by far, which is why I went there. Interest rates on the other hand are still very much awful.

We were able to go a little further out from FFX county and by a honda under msrp with no garbage market adj added on. Still not the deal I wanted, because the doc fee was ridiculous, but oh well.

I just dealt with the scum at Rosenthal Acura over the past month. Interestingly, when the salesman handed me the paper with the package comparisons, I asked him for the MSRP for each package, and he jacked them all up by a few thousand. I challenged him on it, and he apologized saying he was mistaken. How can a person who sells basically 4 models of cars be that confused? He then told me that they have been marking up cars by $5,000, but because I am a former customer, he won't do that to me. Awwww, thank you so much.

I went online and found a dealer willing to offer money off and actually got a $3,000 discount plus another $1,000 off for a factory incentive. So total of $4,000 off of a $63,000 car.

I did look at the EVs, but I agree with others that infrastructure still not there to satisfy me. I want more range and more charging stations along with cargo space without paying over $100K. Plug in hybrid is a joke in my opinion. Too much hassle with constant charging for a range of only 30 miles. Nope, I am waiting it out!

Just practical, but keep thinking you're "doing your part for the environment".

I agree that EVs are not great yet. I looked very closely at a Bolt, but too many issues. But I think hybrids are the way to go. PHEVs are good if you can find them, but regular hybrids are good, too. I'm about to buy our second.

We’ve been paying pretty close attention hoping to eventually make a purchase but not at all willing to be ripped off and I’d say yes, but only ever so slightly. With the exception of EV’s which still seem nuts. Thankfully we are not looking at those.

We are still waiting though. I still think it’s going down more. If I’m wrong I’m wrong but we are not in a rush.
